Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) played Hanuman Chalisa with loudspeakers outside Shiv Sena Bhavan in Mumbai on the occasion of Ram Navami. However, shortly after, the police stopped it and also confiscated the vehicle on which Hanuman Chalisa was being played with loudspeakers. Simultaneously, MNS leader Yashwant Killekar, who was playing Hanuman Chalisa, was taken into custody. According to reports, at present, the police has released the MNS leader with a warning that permission will have to be taken from the police administration for any demonstration.
