At the Oscars stage today, March 28 (IST) Will Smith punched Chris Rock who made fun of his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair. For the unaware, Will Smith’s wife Jada has a condition called alopecia, which causes excessive hair fall. In fact, Jada had spoken about it on many platforms in the past. Chris, during the event, joked that Jada looked like GI Jane 2. Jada rolled her eyes at the very mention of it and Will went to the stage and landed a punch on Chris’ face.
Jada Smith suffers from alopecia and has opened up about it in the past as well. “I was in the shower one day and had just handfuls of hair in my hands and I was just like, ‘Oh my God, am I going bald?’ It was one of those times in my life where I was literally shaking in fear. That’s why I cut my hair, and why I continue to cut it,” she once said while speaking about her condition. Watch the video to know more about the disease called alopecia.
