Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was cleared by the NCB as it filed a 6,000-page chargesheet in the drugs-on-cruise case on Friday. Aryan Khan was one of the 23 people arrested by the anti-drugs agency after it raided the Cordelia cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai in October last year.
Several court hearings, lots of drama and 26 long days in custody later, the Bombay High Court granted Aryan Khan bail on October 28. He finally walked out of jail on October 30.
The twists in the case came thick and fast. Amid allegations of corruption against Sameer Wankhede, the case was transferred from the Mumbai zone to the central team of the NCB. Wankhede was removed from the case and a vigilance probe was initiated against him.
