Iran’s Foreign Minister Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian , who is visiting India, has expressed concern over the remarks of BJP leaders on Prophet Mohammad. However, he said that Iran is satisfied with the action taken by India. Abdollahian is on a tour of India from June 8. He held separate talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval.
Update: Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has told that the issue of remarks on the Prophet was not raised during the meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries. Iran also deleted its statement. Watch the video to know more.
