Violence broke out on the premises of a private school in Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi on Sunday morning over the death of a Class 12 girl inside the campus. Protesters vandalised the school and set fire to school vehicles four days after a school watchman found the body of the girl on the ground floor of the hostel. The girl allegedly killed herself after facing harassment at the hands of two school teachers, who have since been arrested.
