370 हटने के बाद कश्मीर की फिजा पूरी तरह से बदली हुई है। नये कश्मीर में आज सुरक्षा बलों के जवान, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी और श्रीनगर के प्रबुद्ध नागरिक तिरंगा यात्रा (Tiranga Yatra) में शामिल हुए। जम्मू-कश्मीर ( Jammu-Kashmir) के उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा (Manoj Sinha) ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के आह्वान पर पूरा देश आज आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मना रहा है और उसमें जम्मू-कश्मीर के लोग बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा ले रहे हैं।
