Wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Sonam Malik have suffered a major setback after the defeat in the Tokyo Olympics. Vinesh Phogat has been temporarily suspended by the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). At the same time, a notice has been sent to Sonam Malik. The federation has accused both Vinesh and Sonam of not following the rules. WFI has alleged that Vinesh had refused to train with the rest of the Indian athletes in the Olympic Village. At the same time, she did not even wear the name of Team India’s official kit sponsor in the Olympics, she wore a Nike singlet in her matches, after which Vinesh has now been sent a three-point notice. Vinesh has to reply to the notice by August 16.
