The registration for vaccination against the Covid-19 infection on the Co-WIN portal and Aarogya Setu app will start today (April 28) at 4 pm. The inoculation process and documents to be provided to get the Covid-19 vaccine will remain the same. While walk-ins will not be allowed to avoid chaos at the vaccination centres, those aged 45 years and above can still go for on-site registration to get the Covid-19 vaccines.
Meanwhile, the Centre has asked the states to use its quota of Covid-19 vaccine jabs for the priority groups like frontline workers and those above the age of 45. The Centre puts the onus on the states to vaccinate those above 18 years. The vaccine brought by states directly from manufactures to be used for those between 18 and 45 years.
