10 सितंबर 2022 से उत्तर प्रदेश में शुरू हुए मदरसा सर्वे का काम लगभग मुकम्मल हो गया है. राज्य के सभी 75 जिलों में हुए सर्वे में पाया गया है कि तकरीबन 8 हजार से ज्यादा मदरसे गैर मान्यता प्राप्त हैं. यह सर्वे मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ की हिदायत पर किया गया है, जिसकी निगरानी राज्य सरकार का मदरसा बोर्ड कर रहा है.
नेशल चाइल्ड प्रोटेक्शन कमिशन ने यूपी के मदरसों का सर्वे करवाए जाने की गुज़ारिश की थी. इसके लिए उप्र मदरसा एजुकेशन काउंसिल के रजिस्ट्रार की तरफ से सरकार को खत भेजा गया था. जिसके बाद सभी जिलाधिकारियों को प्रदेश के सभी गैर मान्यता प्राप्त मदरसों का सर्वे करने का हुक्म दिया है. कहा गया है कि एसडीएम के नेतृत्व में टीम बगैर मान्यता प्राप्त वाले मदरसों की तादाद सहूलियतें और छात्र-छात्राओं की हालत का सर्वे करेगी.
