Today, proceedings in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha started with the demand for discussion on China. Opposition MPs created a ruckus in both the Houses. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that he was not being given a chance to speak on China, while Piyush Goyal and Nirmala Sitharaman said that this has happened many times in the House before. During this, Nehru was also mentioned in the House without taking his name.
There was more uproar in the Lok Sabha than in the Rajya Sabha and then the Lok Sabha was adjourned till the next day.
