Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in West Bengal on Friday to launch development projects worth over Rs 7,800 crore in the state. The prime minister will also flag off Vande Bharat Express connecting Howrah and New Jalapaiguri. The ultra-modern semi-high speed train is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities. The train will stop at Malda Town, Barsoi and Bolpur (Shantiniketan) stations enroute on both directions.
