Masterclass episode 3: In this episode of Masterclass, Saurabh Tripathi explained the row between Punjab and Haryana over Sutlej Yamuna Link Canal (SYL). The creation of Haryana from the undivided Punjab in 1966 threw up the problem of giving Haryana its share of river waters. Punjab was opposed to sharing waters of the Ravi and Beas with Haryana, citing river sharing principles, and contending that it had no water to spare. Watch video to know more.
