Harsha, a 23-year-old Bajrang Dal activist, was stabbed in Karnataka’s Shivamogga on Sunday night. A resident of Seegehatti, Harsha was rushed to the McGann Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Karnataka Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the stabbing that took place in Bharati Colony area.
At least 20 people were injured and around 50 vehicles torched during the funeral procession of a Bajrang Dal worker, forcing police to resort to mild-lathi-charge and open teargas shells here on Monday. Police have imposed curfew till 6 am on Wednesday in Shivamogga city as a precautionary measure.
