They are rapidly racing towards Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Experts say that America is just repeating the decades-old mistake committed by the Soviet Union. In 1988, the Soviets decided to withdraw from Afghanistan without giving any solution for a peaceful and stable government. What happened after that is history. America is doing the same. By withdrawing their troops, America is leaving an open ground for the Taliban to capture and rule Afghanistan. They are already ruling more than 80 per cent of Afghanistan. What are the threats from the Taliban? Can anyone stop them now? Or, Afghans will have to pay yet another debt for other’s fault?
