The Indian Navy and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) achieved a milestone on Tuesday after an indigenously developed heavyweight torpedo successfully engaged an underwater target. In a tweet, the Indian Navy called it a ‘significant milestone’ in its quest for accurate delivery of ordnance on target in the underwater domain.
