The Allahabad High Court has made an observation regarding live-in relationships. While hearing the petition of a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy living together in a live-in relationship, the court has likened live-in relationships to passing time. The court stated that the Supreme Court has recognized live-in relationships, but in such relationships, there is often more infatuation or attraction for each other than honesty.
