The death count in the Kerala serial blasts climbed to 3 on Monday as a 12-year-old girl, who was undergoing treatment at hospital, succumbed to her injuries, reported news agency PTI citing an official statement.
On Sunday, three blasts ripped through a convention centre in Kalamassery, where hundreds of followers of the minority Christian group Jehovah’s Witnesses had assembled on the concluding day of a three-day-long prayer meeting. Three people have died and more than 50 sustained injuries in the explosion.
