At least 29 people were arrested by Scotland Yard on charges of breaching the Terrorist Act, racial hatred, and disobeying dispersal orders after tens of thousands of protestors held a pro-Palestinian demonstration in London on Saturday (local time).
The protest was attended by 30,000 people who gathered in Trafalgar Square, Scotland Yard told Indiatoday.in. Additionally, around 350 protesters from the Free Palestine Coalition brought Oxford Street to a standstill, joining the movement in various parts, including Edinburgh and Glasgow.
