British newspaper Daily Mail published a news that for the semi-final match against New Zealand, the pitch at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium was changed a day before. After this news, a conspiracy theory started being made that Team India, in collaboration with ICC, got the match conducted on the pitch as per their choice. It was claimed that the New Zealand team likes to bowl first, so they wanted a bowling pitch. But a day before, it has been decided to hold the match on a used pitch.
