मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ और राजस्थान में विधानसभा 2023 चुनाव में बीजेपी ने प्रचंड बहुमत से जीत अपने नाम दर्ज की है। राजस्थान में बीजेपी को कुल 199 सीट में से 115 सीटों पर जीत मिली है तो कांग्रेस को 69 सीट पर जीत मिली है। वहीं, बीएसपी ने 2 सीटों पर जीत दर्ज की है। इस बीच राजस्थान में सीएम पद उम्मीदवार को लेकर चर्चा जोरों-शोरों पर है। राजस्थान सीएम पद की रेस में पूर्व सीएम वसुंधरा राजे, गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत, अर्जुनराम मेघवाल, सीपी जोशी और महंत बालक नाथ नाम आगे चल रहे हैं।
Mahant Balaknath is the eighth chief Mahant of the Nath sect and is also a Lok Sabha MP from Alwar seat of Rajasthan. BJP had given him a ticket from Tijara assembly seat, where he has registered a victory. He defeated Congress candidate Imran Khan by a margin of 6173 votes. Since the time of ticket distribution for the Rajasthan elections, Balaknath was one of the front runners for the top post in the state
