Members of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) briefly stood in support of Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar over the behaviour of some Opposition members mocking him outside Parliament, sources said.
The House was adjourned for 15 minutes.
A total of 141 Opposition MPs were suspended from the Parliament for unruly behaviour, prompting protests. The suspension followed a demand by the Opposition for a statement from Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the Lok Sabha security breach incident on December 13.
