The Maharashtra Assembly on Wednesday is set to pronounce the crucial verdict on the disqualification petitions against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and other MLAs of Shiv Sena. The verdict will be pronounced by Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar.
The cross-petitions were filed by rival Sena factions.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MLAs from Chief Minister Shinde’s group were present in Mumbai to gather at Balasaheb Bhavan party office by 3 pm, roughly an hour before the disqualification case verdict. The MLAs were also likely to visit Vidhan Bhavan after a meeting at the party office.
