At present, people of the country are getting free food grains through the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY). In Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, this scheme also proved to be very beneficial for the ruling party BJP. It is believed that if the BJP returned to power in these states, then this plan was also a major reason behind it. But, today we are mentioning the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana because the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food Affairs has issued a report on Tuesday, March 22 regarding this.
