Shibu soren was one of the founders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha or JMM which aimed at creation of separate state of Jharkhand. shibu soren’s struggle of Jharkhand in 70s, 80s and 90s was remarkable that led to fulfil his dream of separate Jharkhand state in 2000. but his dream to become a full-term chief minister of this state had been sabotaged thrice. he was chargsheeted in JMM bribary case after some allegations of taking bribe to save PV Narsimha Rao led central government when this govt. faced no trust motion in Lok sabha. but finally all accused (including shibu soren) of this case had been exonerated. now in Jharkhand, his son Hemant soren led coalition government is in office.
