After the Speaker, the opposition has made preparations for the election on the Deputy Speaker. The opposition is planning to declare Samajwadi Party MP from Faizabad, Awadhesh Prasad, as its candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha. It is being told that Mamata Banerjee has put forward the name of Awadhesh Prasad…but till now there is no reaction from Congress on this issue…
According to sources, Mamata wants to hit two birds with one stone… Firstly, Awadhesh Prasad is a Dalit.
