Israel launched a wave of airstrikes across southern Lebanon early on Sunday in what it said was a pre-emptive strike on Hezbollah.
Smoke billowed from the town of Zibqin following an airstrike, causing fires in the forests around.
Footage from Hezbollah-allied Lebanese news channel Al Mayadeen earlier showed several large explosions in Zibqin, situated 103 kilometres (64 miles) from the capital, Beirut.
