असम सरकार ने आज से अपने यहां बीफ पर कम्पलीट बैन लगा दिया है. हिमंता सरकार ने फैसला किया है कि असम के किसी भी रेस्तरां या होटल में गोमांस नहीं परोसा जाएगा. इसके साथ ही किसी सार्वजनिक समारोह या सार्वजनिक स्थान पर भी गोमांस का उपभोग नहीं किया जा सकेगा..आज मंत्रिमंडल की मीटिंग के बाद असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता बिस्वा सरमा ने कहा कि उनकी सरकार ने 3 साल पहले गोहत्या पर पाबंदी लगाई थी, लेकिन अब इस बैन को एक्सटेंड करते हुए होटल, रेस्तरां और पब्लिक प्लेस पर भी लागू कर दिया है.
The Assam government has imposed a complete ban on beef from today. The Himanta government has decided that beef will not be served in any restaurant or hotel in Assam. Along with this, beef will not be consumed in any public function or public place. After the cabinet meeting today, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that his government had banned cow slaughter 3 years ago, but now this ban has been extended and implemented in hotels, restaurants and public places as well.
