The Supreme Court is set to hear petitions challenging the Vox Act on April 16. Approximately 12 pleas have been filed by opposition parties, including Congress, AIMIM, the Samajwadi Party, the Aam Aadmi Party, and the DMK, questioning the constitutionality of the Act. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, along with other lawyers, mentioned the plea for urgent listing. One petition, filed by Jamia Millia Islamia’s president, Maulana Arshad Madani, seeks directions to defer the implementation of the law.
