North Korea said Wednesday leader Kim Jong Un observed the first test-firings of missiles from a newly launched destroyer and called for accelerating efforts to boost his navy’s nuclear attack capabilities. North Korea last week unveiled the 5,000-ton warship equipped with what it called the most powerful weapons built in its warship industry. Kim said it was a significant advancement toward his goal of expanding the operational range and preemptive strike capabilities of his nuclear-armed military.

उत्तर कोरिया ने बुधवार को कहा कि नेता किम जोंग उन ने हाल ही में लॉन्च किए गए विध्वंसक पोत से मिसाइलों का पहला परीक्षण देखा और अपनी नौसेना की परमाणु हमला क्षमताओं को बढ़ाने के प्रयासों में तेज़ी लाने का आह्वान किया। उत्तर कोरिया ने पिछले हफ़्ते 5,000 टन के युद्धपोत का अनावरण किया, जो अपने युद्धपोत उद्योग में निर्मित सबसे शक्तिशाली हथियारों से लैस है। किम ने कहा कि यह उनकी परमाणु-सशस्त्र सेना की परिचालन सीमा और पूर्वव्यापी हमला क्षमताओं का विस्तार करने के उनके लक्ष्य की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रगति है।
