उत्तर प्रदेश एंटी-टेररिज्म स्क्वॉड (ATS) ने अवैध धर्मांतरण के एक बड़े रैकेट में शामिल छांगुर गैंग के अहम सदस्य रशीद शाह को गुरुवार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया. रशीद, बलरामपुर जिले के मधपुर गांव का रहने वाला है और जमालुद्दीन उर्फ छांगुर बाबा का करीबी सहयोगी बताया जाता है. ATS ने उसे उतरौला थाना क्षेत्र से हिरासत में लिया और लखनऊ में न्यायालय में पेश किया. रशीद पर आरोप है कि वह छांगुर के इशारे पर अवैध धर्मांतरण में सक्रिय था और प्रत्येक शिकार के लिए उसे 10,000 रुपये की रकम दी जाती थी.
The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Thursday arrested Rashid Shah, a key member of the Changur gang involved in a major racket of illegal conversion. Rashid is a resident of Madhpur village in Balrampur district and is said to be a close associate of Jamaluddin alias Changur Baba. The ATS detained him from the Uttaula police station area and produced him in court in Lucknow. Rashid is accused of being active in illegal conversion at the behest of Changur and was paid Rs 10,000 for each victim.
