Congress MLA Nana Patole has alleged a widespread honey trap operation in Maharashtra, claiming that top ministers and senior IAS and IPS officers may have been targeted. According to Patole, the scandal is much larger than what is currently being reported and raises significant national security concerns. He stated that because of this, “confidential government documents can fall into the hands of anti-national elements and can therefore lead to massive security lapse.” The Maharashtra Chief Minister has refuted these allegations, stating that the police have not received any formal complaints regarding the matter. The Chief Minister has challenged Nana Patole to provide concrete evidence to support his claims.
