The United States has designated The Resistance Front (TRF) a global terrorist organization, identifying it as a proxy of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba. The designation follows India’s repeated accusations against the TRF for carrying out terror strikes in Jammu and Kashmir, including an attack in Pahalgam in April 2025 where unarmed civilians were targeted. The discussion also touches upon China’s role in blocking terror designations at the United Nations, exposing its alleged “double-speak.” A speaker in the programme noted, “India’s position has been vindicated for long that these terrorist organizations are taking advantage of the shelter that they have been provided and they are attacking in Indian cities, especially in Jammu and Kashmir states.”
