जगदीप धनखड़ के उपराष्ट्रपति पद से इस्तीफे के बाद कयासों का दौर शुरू है। कांग्रेस ने दावा किया था कि शाम को कार्य मंत्रणा समिति की मीटिंग जगदीप धनखड़ ने बुलाई थी। इस मीटिंग में संसदीय कार्य मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू नहीं पहुंचे थे और जेपी नड्डा भी नहीं गए थे। कांग्रेस ने इन नेताओं के न जाने को उपराष्ट्रपति के इस्तीफे से जोड़ा था। अब इस मामले में जेपी नड्डा का बयान सामने आया है। उनका कहना है कि मैं किसी महत्वपूर्ण संसदीय कार्य में व्यस्था था और मीटिंग में न जाने की जानकारी उपराष्ट्रपति कार्यालय को दी गई थी।
