When she refused and insisted on speaking Hindi, the argument escalated. She boldly responded, “Not Marathi, speak in Hindi. Aren’t you from India?” This incident has sparked fresh debate over language politics in Maharashtra. With rising tensions and political involvement, the issue has now even reached the Supreme Court.
