In a shocking incident from Karnataka’s Belagavi district, 12 students fell ill after drinking poisoned water in a government school. Investigation revealed it wasn’t an accident, but a deliberate act to frame the school’s Muslim principal, Suleman Gori Naik, and force his transfer. A 5th-grade student was manipulated into pouring the substance into the water tank. 3 people have been arrested, including a local leader of the right-wing group Sri Ram Sena. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has condemned the act as a hate-driven conspiracy aimed at disturbing communal harmony.
