Army soldier Kapil Panwar, who was a victim of violence by toll plaza workers in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, has reacted to the entire incident. He said that physical injuries heal with time, but mental wounds last a lifetime. Admitted to a military hospital, Kapil Panwar stated, “I have no hesitation in facing enemies at the border, but the treatment I received in my own country has left a deep wound in my heart.”
