Bihar Police has issued a statewide high alert after intelligence inputs revealed that three Pakistan-based terrorists from Jaish-e-Mohammed entered Bihar via the Nepal border. The suspects—Hasnain Ali from Rawalpindi, Adil Hussain from Umerkot, and Mohammad Usman from Bahawalpur—are now wanted across the state. Security checks have been intensified in sensitive border districts including Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Supaul, Araria, and Champaran. Vehicle checking is underway, all police stations have been put on alert, and a reward of ₹50,000 has been announced for any information. Citizens are urged to report suspicious activity to the police immediately. With Bihar’s 729-km-long open border with Nepal, infiltration remains a serious challenge.
