# Approvers against Bhagat Singh and others in Lahore Conspiracy Case of 1929
# The 1928 murder of British officer Saunders was revenge for Lala Lajpat Rai’s death during a protest against the Simon Commission. Members of Revolutionary HSRA took the responsibility.
# In 1929, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly to protest British bills. They surrendered to use the trial as a platform.
# The subsequent Lahore Conspiracy Case implicated 25 revolutionaries. The prosecution relied on approvers, including Hans Raj Vohra, Jai Gopal, and Phanindra Nath Ghosh, who turned on their comrades.
# Another notable witness was Sir Sobha Singh, a well-known builder and the father of author Khushwant Singh, who was present during the assembly bombing.
# On October 7, 1930, a special tribunal at Lahore Central Jail sentenced Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru to death by hanging.
