वाराणसी आदमपुर थाना क्षेत्र के एक मोहल्ले में अगवा बालिका का धर्मांतरण के बाद निकाह पढ़ने वाले दो मौलवी और एक अगुवा को पुलिस ने मंगलवार को क्षेत्र से गिरफ्तार किया। गिरफ्तार आरोपियों में अगुवा मर्सलीन निवासी जलालीपुरा जैतपुरा और मौलवी मोहम्मद हसीन और मौलवी आबिद सुल्तान उर्फ राजू निवासी जैतपुरा हैं। मर्सलीन ने दोनों मौलवी को निकाह पढ़ने पर 600 रुपये दिए थे।
Police arrested two clerics and a leader from the area on Tuesday who performed the Nikah of a kidnapped girl after converting her to Islam in a locality of Varanasi’s Adampur police station area. Among the arrested accused are leader Marsleen resident of Jalalipura Jaitpura and Maulvi Mohammad Haseen and Maulvi Abid Sultan alias Raju resident of Jaitpura. Marsleen had given Rs 600 to both the clerics for performing the Nikah.
