Goods and Services Tax (GST) underwent through a major reform on 3 September 2025, Wednesday. The GST Council approved a simplified two-slab structure of 5% and 18%. This change is aimed at reducing the tax burden on consumers and simplifying compliance for businesses. This will be effective from 22 September. Watch video to know more.
