A shocking case has come to light in Kolkata where a 20-year-old woman from Haridevpur alleged that she was gangraped on her birthday by two acquaintances, identified as Chandan Malik and Dweep Biswas. According to the FIR, the accused lured her under the pretext of including her in a Puja committee, took her to a flat near Regent Park, and allegedly committed the crime.
Police have registered the case, launched an investigation, and are currently tracing the absconding accused. Authorities have appealed to the public to share any information regarding their whereabouts.
