Tragedy struck Gujarat’s Panchmahal district at the revered Pavagadh Shaktipeeth on September 6, 2025, around 3:30 PM, when a goods cable car suddenly plummeted, killing six people: two lift operators, two laborers, and two others. The Panchmahal Collector confirmed the deaths. The ropeway, built for temple renovation, was transporting materials via cables, as per Aaj Tak’s Jayendra Bhoi’s report. Watch full report.
