In a shocking incident in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, a BJP worker, Siyaram Upadhyay, a disabled man, died after a brutal police lathi charge during a protest against alleged police misconduct. Taking cognizance of this incident, the SP has taken major action and suspended 6 policemen including a sub-inspector, while 6 policemen have been put on line duty.
