उत्तर प्रदेश में मेरठ के सरधना में नाले से मछली पकड़ने को लेकर हुए विवाद ने मंगलवार देर रात सांप्रदायिक संघर्ष का रूप ले लिया. डेरी पर बैठे ठाकुर युवकों की अन्य समुदाय के युवकों से कहा सुनी हो गई जो देखते-देखते मारपीट में बदल गई. आरोप है कि एक पक्ष के युवकों ने दूसरे पक्ष पर हमला कर दिया. सूचना मिलने पर दोनों पक्षों के लोग जुट गए और जमकर पथराव हुआ.
A dispute over fishing from a drain in Sardhana, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, escalated into a communal clash late Tuesday night. Thakur youths sitting at a dairy had an altercation with youths from another community, which escalated into a physical altercation. It is alleged that youths from one side attacked the other. Upon receiving the information, people from both sides gathered, and heavy stone pelting ensued.
