आज जैसे ही नोबेल पीस प्राइज के विनर के नाम का एलान हुआ. उसके तुरंत बाद व्हाइट हाउस ने इस एलान पर नाराजगी जाहिर की व्हाइस हाउस के कम्युनिकेशन इंचार्ज ने कहा कि प्रेसीडेंट ट्रंप को भले ही नोबेल न दिया गया हो. लेकिन इससे ट्रंप के पीस मिशन में कोई कमी नहीं आएगी. ट्रंप दुनिया में शान्ति के लिए युद्ध और हिंसा को खत्म कराने की कोशिश करते रहेंगे. व्हाइट हाउस ने कहा कि ट्रंप बड़े दिल और चट्टानी इरादों वाले नेता है. उन्होंने आठ युद्ध रूकवाए ये पूरी दुनिया जानती है. इसलिए नोबेल मिले न मिले इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता सबसे इंटरेस्टिंग बात ये है कि इस साल का नोबेल पीस प्राइज ट्रंप की बहुत बड़ी फैन और वेनेजुएला में विपक्ष की नेता मारिया कोरीना मचाडो को दिया गया है. मारिया ने वेनेजुएला में लोकतन्त्र की स्थापना के लिए फौज के खिलाफ लंबी लड़ाई लड़ी और इसके लिए उन्हें ट्रंप का पूरा सपोर्ट मिला. मारिया भी चाहती थीं कि ट्रंप को नोबेल पीस प्राइज मिले लेकिन कमेटी ने ट्रंप के नाम पर विचार ही नहीं किया.

Maria also wanted Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, but the committee did not consider Trump’s name.
