The blast triggered panic and a massive fire in the area. Authorities have detained the registered owner of the vehicle and invoked India’s anti-terror law (UAPA) as investigations point to a possible terror link. Neighboring states were placed on high alert, and the U.S. Embassy issued a security advisory. Meanwhile, a separate raid in Haryana led to the seizure of 2,900 kg of bomb-making materials and the arrest of two suspects.
