इंडिगो संकट थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। पिछले हफ़्ते भर से उड़ानों की लगातार कैंसिलेशन ने देशभर के यात्रियों को बड़ी मुश्किल में डाल दिया है। और अब सरकार भी सख़्त रुख अपनाने की तैयारी में है।
मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, इंडिगो की रोज़ाना की लगभग 110 फ्लाइट्स—यानी करीब 5% शेड्यूल—दूसरी एयरलाइंस को दिए जाने की तैयारी है। और अगर हालात नहीं सुधरे… तो अगले चरण में 5% की और कटौती लागू हो सकती है। यानी कुल मिलाकर 10% तक शेड्यूल कट सकता है।
यानी कि सरकार का प्लान साफ़ है, पहले स्टेप में इंडिगो के स्लॉट्स उन एयरलाइंस को दिए जाएं जिनके पास क्रू और एयरक्राफ्ट की कमी नहीं है। इसमें अकासा, स्पाइसजेट और एयर इंडिया एक्सप्रेस जैसी एयरलाइंस शामिल हैं।
हाल ही में DGCA ने इंडिगो को नोटिस भी जारी किया था, जिसका जवाब एयरलाइन ने माफ़ी के साथ दिया है। इंडिगो ने इस पूरे संकट की पांच वजहें बताई हैं
नए FDTL रूल्स, विंटर शेड्यूल चेंज, खराब मौसम, एयर ट्रैफिक कंजेशन और तकनीकी दिक्कतें।

IndiGo’s crisis shows no signs of abating. The continuous cancellations of flights over the past week have caused significant hardship for passengers across the country. And now the government is preparing to take a tough stance.
According to media reports, approximately 110 of IndiGo’s daily flights—approximately 5% of its schedule—are being allocated to other airlines. And if the situation doesn’t improve, a further 5% reduction could be implemented in the next phase. This means the total schedule could be cut by up to 10%.
This means the government’s plan is clear: In the first step, IndiGo’s slots should be allocated to airlines that do not have a shortage of crew and aircraft. This includes airlines like Akasa, SpiceJet, and Air India Express.
Recently, the DGCA issued a notice to IndiGo, to which the airline responded with an apology. IndiGo cited five reasons for this crisis: new FDTL rules, winter schedule changes, bad weather, air traffic congestion, and technical problems.
