The decision follows a chaotic period beginning in early December, when the airline canceled thousands of flights after struggling to comply with newly enforced pilot duty-time and rest-norms. The 10% reduction builds on an earlier 5% cut issued by DGCA — the deeper cut is aimed at stabilizing operations and restoring reliability.
