प्यू रिसर्च की रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक रूस में मुस्लिम आबादी तेजी से बढ़ रही है, जबकि हिंदू समुदाय की संख्या बेहद सीमित बनी हुई है। रिपोर्ट्स का दावा है कि रूस की कुल जनसंख्या करीब 14 से 15 करोड़ के बीच है, जिसमें मुस्लिम समुदाय की हिस्सेदारी लगभग 7 से 10 प्रतिशत मानी जा रही है।
इसका मतलब है कि रूस में करीब 2.5 करोड़ मुस्लिम नागरिक रह रहे हैं।
हालांकि रूस में धर्म आधारित आधिकारिक जनगणना नहीं होती, इसलिए ये आंकड़े अलग-अलग शोध और अध्ययनों पर आधारित हैं। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि आने वाले वर्षों में रूस के सामाजिक और राजनीतिक संतुलन पर इसका असर दिख सकता है।

According to Pew Research reports, the Muslim population in Russia is growing rapidly, while the Hindu community remains very small. The reports claim that Russia’s total population is between 140 and 150 million, with the Muslim community accounting for approximately 7 to 10 percent.
This means that around 25 million Muslim citizens live in Russia.
However, Russia does not conduct an official census based on religion, so these figures are based on various research and studies. Experts believe that this could have an impact on Russia’s social and political balance in the coming years.
