The Election Commission of India (ECI) has released Uttar Pradesh’s draft electoral roll after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), retaining about 12.55 crore names out of roughly 15.44 crore voters. While around 2.89 crore names have been deleted, putting UP at the highest deletion rate of 18.7% among the states covered so far. If your name is missing, the draft-roll window now allows objections, and you can verify your status on the Voters Service Portal at voters.eci.gov.in under the SIR 2026 section, or via the ECINET mobile app. Those marked missing/untraceable may need proof like inclusion in the 2003 SIR list or other ECI-prescribed documents, and objections against included names can also be filed via Form 7.
